Craig Orr, CEO of NZ Hops Ltd, has resigned from the co-operative after two and a half years in the position. Craig is moving on to focus on new business interests.  During this time, Craig has led significant change for the organisation, now with a strong focus on being a customer facing business. Our Master Growers have put down their tools and swept out their sheds. Harvest is done for another year and growers are relaxing after a job well done. Crop quality across the board is very high with incredible aromas coming from our processing shed! We expect all brewers will be very happy with any 2022 product they receive. Two varietals really stood out this season - Riwaka™ and Nectaron®, which had a stunning crop year. Harvest 2022 is underway! The first bales arrived at the NZ Hops Appleby headquarters today (Thursday 24 February 2022) for processing. Holmdale Farm’s bales of Pacifica™ were the first to be delivered. The next six weeks are a flurry of activity as the Master Growers and their teams work around the clock to bring in the hops. Our world renowned hops, grown right here in sunny Tasman NZ.
